Bible Study 2017

In 2016, I followed the M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan. Reading the Bible each day along with reading the entire Bible have been things I’ve been trying to do for so long. After many false starts over the years, I thought I’d never be able to make it. God is amazing, and each day He spoke to me through His Word and gave me the desire to continue to draw close to Him. I can finally say I’ve read the whole Bible. Through this, my relationship with God has deepened, my understanding has increased and, of course, my life has been changed. Praise God!

I recently wrote up a summary of my plan for Bible reading in 2017, but I thought I’d let myself ease into it by starting to apply some of the principles to my current Bible reading.

tl;dr A comedy about a girl who likes a boy way too much. I didn’t like it, then liked it. Will continue watching.

Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV

tl;dr A promising show, nothing too heavy or surprising, I’ll continue watching.

Yesterday, I went to Basecamp, the new incarnation of the Katoomba Christian Convention, a Christian conference for men. I have always found that the best way to learn from something is to try to summarise it, so here goes.

Social Media Aggregator

I’m not going to go into great detail about this idea, I just wanted to get it written down before I lost it.

Streaming Media Services Suck

I’ve long been one of those guys crying out for affordable streaming media services. I’ve said that if we had these, piracy wouldn’t be as much of a problem. And, you guessed it, I’ve come to the conclusion that I was wrong. Streaming media services haven’t turned out to be the panacea I thought they would. In actual fact, they suck! They’ve come late and they’ve come without the features people have come to expect.
